Targeted Patient Qualification
Screened respondents to identify “true completers” — patients with stroke and spasticity who had received Botox treatment.

Key Findings

Lower-than-Expected Discontinuation: Only 20% of Botox-treated patients discontinued treatment, substantially below the 60% expected based on client data.

Awareness & Treatment Discussion Gaps: More than 80% of untreated patients were unaware of Botox as a treatment option, and many reported it had never been discussed with their physician.

Key Discontinuation Drivers: Lack of efficacy and side effects were the main reasons reported for discontinuing Botox treatment.
